ViaConnect and ViaPay allow partners to expand offerings
Viamericas Corporation, an international licensed money transfer company, announced today they are offering Money Transfer as a Service (MTaaS) through its new digital financial services platform. Viamericas is embracing the open API economy to allow partners to expand their product offerings through their own consumer direct channels by utilizing the new ViaConnect and ViaPay APIs for money transfer, bill payment, mobile top up and PINless long distance calling.
Viamericas’ APIs incorporate a directed-send model which allows customers to select specific payment partners, creating a platform which provides more competitive pricing and exchange rates than can be provided by “will-call” models used by the largest competitors in the international money transfer market. The new ViaConnect and ViaPay APIs give partners access to competitive pricing and award-winning customer service through Viamericas’ network.
“Viamericas has done the hard work of building an agent network, developing APIs and maintaining all state and federal compliance standards so that our partners can simply connect to our APIs to offer their customers more financial services,” says Joe Argilagos, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Viamericas. “We want to make it easy for our partners to offer these services at great rates.”
The ViaConnect APIs developed by Viamericas allow partners to connect to the Viamericas platform to offer financial services like money transfer, bill payment and mobile top up. Services can be offered through a partner’s own consumer direct channels to their existing customers, giving them the power to co-brand their services with Viamericas.
The ViaPay APIs developed by Viamericas allow payment partners to settle money transfers quickly and easily, while maintaining their own branding and consumer direct channels.
“By expanding our digital platform capabilities and creating open APIs to connect to our services, we are enabling partners to offer financial services quickly and easily to their customers,” says Joel Kosloski, CTO and lead architect of the new digital platform. “Viamericas can help manage the integrations for our partners to ensure that everything goes smoothly.”
Viamericas offers money transfer, bill payment, check processing and top-up services at agent locations across the United States, and a network of thousands of pay-out locations throughout Latin America, India and Asia. Viamericas provides easy, fast and safe international payments and superior customer service. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) member of the World Bank Group – is Viamericas™ largest institutional shareholder.
