Viamistad Donation Campaign 2026–2027
From November 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027, Viamericas and Banco G&T Continental will make donations to Viamistad for every completed eligible money transfer to Guatemala.
Eligible Transfers
The campaign is available at all Viamericas agencies in the United States. To qualify, a money transfer must be sent to Guatemala during the campaign period and successfully completed through Banco G&T Continental, either by cash pickup or bank account deposit.
Our Donations
For every eligible transfer:
- Viamericas will donate US $0.20 to Viamistad.
- Banco G&T Continental will donate an additional US $0.20 to Viamistad for each eligible cash pickup or US $0.40 for each eligible bank account deposit.
Together, the companies will donate US $0.40 per eligible cash pickup transfer or US $0.60 per eligible bank account deposit transfer.
These donations are funded by Viamericas and Banco G&T Continental. No portion of the customer’s transfer amount is donated, and the donations do not reduce the amount the beneficiary receives.
Additional Campaign Terms
- No minimum transfer amount is required to qualify.
- Canceled or refunded transfers are not eligible.
- Customers are not making charitable contributions by participating and cannot claim the companies’ donations as charitable tax deductions.
